It’s fascinating how despite their rightward shift in the U.S., their views on Modi have remained relatively stable. I was surprised that U.S.-India relations don’t rank high as an electoral concern; it seems personal economic and social issues take precedence. The data makes me wonder whether this shift is temporary or a long-term realignment. Either way, it’s a reminder that diaspora politics are shaped by more than just ancestral ties to India.
